@wildaggro: @doncabesa: @slowram: @vinny did an AMAZING job with his Mutant: Year Zero Quicklook- showing off concisely and accurately a complex game with a lot of different systems. These two Quick looks don't seem to even be from the same site when compared. This was truly a train wreck- not the first and definitely not the last :(
And to think they get paid to do this stuff... Another game totally misrepresented on a Quick look :( Ignoring totally obvious things like the torch in the inventory. Boy oh boy...
It's rather funny hearing them excusing her behaviour and how she didn't deserve it, but have immediately dismissed other people in similar cases, when the "good guys" were on the mob side and not the harassed side. "Yeah, fuck that guy" or some such...
@sammo21: yeah, I've noticed that as well... I get the feeling that if Jeff was there he would be the voice of reason and at least say something in the lines of: "Ah, you know, at least they are trying to mix it up" or something...
I'm genuinely fascinated by stuff like this. Are there any good videos out there of people playing this (or Arma or whatever) and working together like a well-oiled machine?
I've played with a few clans and had tons of fun! It's the most immersive video game experience I've ever had. This is one of the first missions I ever did with them, so my radio comms and playing is not up to snuff...
I highly recommend it, and it's totally not as complicated as people make it out to be. When you get the grasp of the controls, everything else you learn on the way with your clan.
We had missions and trainings 2-3 times every week, and on every training you go over formations and working as a group until it's second nature.
Is super fascinating. There are a lot of people with real military experience in any ARMA clan I would say, and they usually take their code, tactics and operations from real world military branches.

P.S. I was never a hardcore sim guy (I've never even played Battlefield) of any genre but I got totally into ARMA, so anyone can do it.
