Is there any way to make it work with a HOTAS? I have a Thrustmaster HOTAS X and would love to replay it with it if possible.

Because more than ever, it's about taking sides and championing people who are on yours.
If you look at any facet of (mostly) American culture or politics right now, you'll see that it's all about having opinions that "your side" agrees with so you'll get praised out of the wazoo.

Be it around Trump, feminism, free speech or anything today really, it's about labeling somebody "the other side/team" and then just going to town on them while celebrating people who regurgitate the same shit everyone else is.
I think that's a direct effect of the internet on the world at large, because I think it was first felt there but through the years it slowly bled out into the media and then into the real (offline) world.
That's the main reason there is no more normal discourse or debate and that everything will inevitably go to hell.

@charlie_victor_bravo: Yeah, I always had a hunch power sources are probably the most overlooked components of people who aren't so knowledgeable in hardware (just like me).
I've noticed everyone is putting Ryzens in their new PC builds (Tested and Techsource just to name a few) but I'm still not sure if that's the right option for me- especially because I'd like to try and use my current PC for the encoding in a 2 PC Setup.

Hi duders and dudettes,

I would really appreciate feedback on a couple of new PC's I'm buying considering it's a pretty hefty sum I'll be spending and that I really don't know much about the current hardware except the bare minimum.

About a year a go I dipped my toes into streaming and REALLY, REALLY enjoyed it- so with this new PC I'm definitely looking to optimize the build for it as much as possible. Also, I don't know if it would be smart to use my CURRENT PC (maybe upgrade it a little bit) and use it in a 2 PC STREAMING setup.

The other new PC will be for my wife, just for gaming (mostly MMOs, and a couple of newer games that we may play together).

Before I start a couple of things to keep in mind:

  • I live in Germany
  • I really don't feel comfortable assembling the PC myself (but if there is a much better deal if I buy parts and assemble it alone, I might be convinced to give it a shot, better not though)
  • I don't need any periphery

My Current PC (for possible 2 PC Streaming setup- for encoding):

  • AMD FX-6300, 6x 3500 MHz
  • MSI 760GM-P23 (FX), Sockel AM3+, AMD 760G Chipsatz
  • 8192 MB DDR3-RAM, 1600 MHz
  • 1000 GB, Seagate®/Toshiba/WD®, SATA
  • 120 GB SSD Samsung 840 Evo (540 MB/s | 410 MB/s)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti, 2048 MB GDDR5, VGA, DVI, HDMI

Streaming/Gaming PC: 1.070€ (1264.78 $)

https://www.rhino-computer.de/product_info.php?products_id=229

  • Intel Core i7 7700 4x 3.6GHz
  • GeForce GTX1060 6144MB
  • Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2V
  • 16GB DDR4 PC-2400
  • 256GB SSD
  • 1000GB HDD
  • Win 10 Home

Good Current Gaming PC for my wife: 837€ (989.36 $)

https://www.rhino-computer.de/product_info.php?products_id=220

  • Intel Core i7 7700 4x 3.6GHz
  • Palit GeForce GTX1050 StormX 2048MB
  • Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2V
  • 8GB DDR4 PC2133
  • 1000GB HDD
  • Win 10 Home

ANY feedback would be great and if you have any tips, tricks and suggestions how to improve the streaming setup even further would be great! (Staying in the relative price range of course) A better network card maybe? Better, faster or crazier main storage etc.

Thank you all very much! Kisses on the cheek! :*

Ōkami- it starts really slow, but if you pull through the first couple of hours, you're in for a 40-50 hour masterpiece!
