Just to repeat what everyone is saying, it doesn't matter. Most game's don't come with real manuals now anyways, and EA did say they were gonna do away with paper manuals.
@Hizang: I can't buy into that. Literally the game would have to blow me for me to be able to justify spending $50 dollars if it was barely over an hour. That's just not right. $50 dollars is a lot of money, and it is impossible for me to justify spending that on something so short.
@rosebud04: Here are two of the reviews I read. One is from gamespot, and the other from joystiq
Granted, the joystiq review does say that it is an essential game regardless of the price, especially if you played the first one, having never touched the first game, there is nothing that would compel me to buy it at this price
I just found out from multiple sources that Child of Eden can be finished in about an hour, yet the game is selling for almost the full retail price of $50 dollars. To me that is absurd. This games seems like it would have been a much better choice as a downloadable title for $10 dollars. Even then, $10 is still a lot of an hour of gameplay. Sure there you can go back and try to perfect your scores or whatever the game has, and try to unlock everything, but for those who are just playing through for the experience, they can expect to finish it in one short sitting.
I've barely played WoW, but I'm just wondering if anybody thinks a iPad version would be a viable way to play. Imagine how much more time people could sink into WoW if they could bring it with them on a bus, or subway. Also, I wonder if blizzard could make a tie in game for iPhone and iPods that maybe earns you gold or something to bring into the full game.
