No. There was some minor chuckle moments but overall it was pretty flat. I watched the archived version the day after and I started to skip forward a few seconds at times just to get past some segments faster, and then the show was over.

The whole GB show was like the intro and outro to a normal length GB panel. No meat whatsoever. So it's just a mild humor and announcement show now, I guess.

The Cards show just wasn't my taste of humor but I can't fault it for that. Cards Against Humaity is wildly popular so they should probably stick with what they're doing.

@bojackhorseman: Well good luck either way. If you do a character centric piece, who is the character? And if you do parallel stories, do you know enough?

I wish you good luck but sounds very very very hard to balance. I wont say you can't do it, but concider it 50-150 times before you think you're done.

The topic is great, though. Is the idea that you're "watching/being backstage to" a Maher-like show? Nope, needs to be sharper than that.

Oh, that's a huge loss for gamespot. So the only two GS people I know (care) about now is Mary Kish and Peter Brown.

Let's hope for The Point East.

I was really super-hyped for Black Desert Online. Everything I read about it beforehand sounded fantastic, especially for a solo player like me. But, man, those first hours in the game is a total mess. The systems are so needlessly convoluted and poorly explained and the bad translation doesn't help either.

After having forced myself to learn all the systems, though, it turns out I didn't want to do any of it. The questing is the most bland any MMO can offer and the rest is an auto-run simulator. It's a real shame because I kind of liked the combat.

At the moment I'm playing through Darksiders for the first time (PC version). It plays very well and it still looks good with that semi-cartoonish WoW artstyle. Cleaned up some minor anti-aliasing via Nvidia control panel, so I don't think it could look any sharper.

But as great as the game is, I'm ready for it to end now. But I think I'm just passed the half-way point. It drags on a bit too long, in my opinion.

Like with any other media, you just have to stay informed to find the stuff that interests you. I think there's an oversaturation of superhero movies. Luckily I know there are more movies than those on the box office top list.

Finding something outside the "trends" isn't hard at all.

Those stages in the development cycle doesn't really mean what they used to mean. At least not when communicating with the audience. Betas are being judged like final products by the public these days. And Alphas has come to mean close to finished.

So I guess studios needed to invent new terms to really underline that everything about the product can change, so please don't think you know what it will become.

Soon we will play versions called Proof of Concept. then Pre-Proof of Concept.

Well, I'm not a math wizard but speaking about "possibilities" when we lack that amount of data is pretty shaky, isn't it? If we don't even know if the technology is possible, how do we deduce the possibillity of it already existing and is in use?

How possible is it that time travelers lives among us right now?
