I personally prefer the original mad max to road warrior. The world seemed more interesting when it was a cross between the current world and the apocalypse, it made Mel Gibson's dark streaks stand out a bit more, which I felt were some of the more interesting character moments. This new mad max seems to heavily evoke road warrior which is fine, but a desert post apocalypse setting is more familiar to me than Australian towns/roadways and so feels less original, creative and interesting in general to me. However, I wish this film the best, and hopes it turns out ok, was just hoping for something more.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, ANIMATRIX. It's mostly a legitimately good slice of Japanese animation (with some obvious exceptions) and too many people write it off as a terrible matrix spin off when it's actually the only matrix product which still stands the test of time. Some may disagree of course.

I personally prefered Altair, I actually quite liked the fact he was a dick, made it less of a leap to imagine him murdering guys constantly. Ezio always seemed too nice and soft a guy to be stabbing throats all day.

I actually quote enjoyed Tomb Raider, thought the movement was good, the bow played pretty well (guns less so) most of the platforming was decent to quite good. The environments were also pretty varied, the actual story was typical tomb raider bullshit but had a few cool moments (duel wielding pistols at the end). Overall it was pretty mindless fun buy it looked pretty good the whole time, laras animations, and felt good to control.

I forgot, Monkey Ball! Sega have yet to come close to emulating the same level of skill based satisfaction they achieved with the first game (though 2 came close)

Splinter Cell peaked with Chaos theory, though after playing blacklist I feel like they are at least making splinter cell enjoyable, If not as focused. Ninja Gaiden has gone completely off the rails however. The NES games are great, but for me the Xbox version (and black) set a standard for action game combat that has yet to be matched, let alone surpassed. Ninja Gaiden 2 just tried throwing more enemies in there and 3 tried all sorts of things, but none of those came close to squaring off against a few skilled enemies with extensive movesets on both sides.

Trevor should have beaten Franklin, no contest. Not that it matters, York is the best. So says Mr Stuart.....

Great game, but a few too many niggles with it bring it down. With a better story and few issues ironed out it would definitely be on my list.
