I thought that Blizzard had given up on doing that Starcraft II dota mod because it seems like it should've been out ages ago. I actually thought that they were going to release their own standalone thing.
nah, they said it was gonna come out with heart of the swarm or around that time
I spent a disgusting amount of time with World of Warcraft. What's even more disgusting is how much more time I spent reading about it rather than playing it. Theorycrafting takes time, and that's the only example I can think of.
Tell me about it. I have played hundreds of hours of Starcraft 2, yet I'm pretty sure I have spent more time reading about it and watching pros play.
I'm confused about this whole thing. Isn't the point of kickstarter to help give people money so they can make the game they want to make? If this guy already has the resources to build a new pong game, what does he need a kickstarter for? Doesn't hiding what your project is defeat the purpose of kickstarter since people are giving you money so you have ability to make the game you say you are going to make, because they like the sound of it and want to play it? It sounds like this guy just needs some form of advertising, or a good way to distribute his game once it releases. I'm not trying to shit on him, I think his game sounds like a neat idea and I would like to see it, I'm just confused by the whole scenario.
I don't care too much about Giantbomb reviews, I usually don't agree with Jeff and Ryan that much. Brad hardly reviews anything ever anymore either. If I want reviews I have to go to other sites all the time anyway, so sure, no GB reviews is fine
