@shabz6661: Right? That's so weird that there was a Super Replay featuring both these games!

I'm so torn on this game. I hear it may have a good story delivered by some great performances but a survival stealth game is a hard enough sell for me, nonetheless one that seems pretty janky. I'm no stranger to playing games with frustrating gameplay for a good story but this might be too much even for me.

Also I love Vinny to death but him playing devil's advocate to everything Dan was saying when Dan was the only one who played it was a bit grating. That "for you" response was frustrating.

@vinny@ybbaaabby If you all are seriously considering disabling comments on videos for your own personal wellness and general push toward making the community an overall more pleasant environment, I can only truly speak for myself, but there is support for that movement.

If GB decides that their way of interacting with their community is to silence them, then I doubt I'll continue being a part of their community.

If Giant Bomb loses some people because they don't want to listen to the overwhelmingly meaningless comments, I'd say that's a fair trade. It's not even a matter of whether I agree with someone's opinion or not, it's the idea that I'm here for video content from people I enjoy and it really doesn't affect me whether people can be upset or not in their comments. I've always felt like I enjoy this website in spite of their community, honestly.

Here's the thing with Dan - when it's cooperative or he's just enjoying something ridiculous with the crew, he's fantastic. I genuinely think he's one of the best people on the website because he seems so genuinely pleased when something goofy is happening. When he's doing something competitive, he's literally the worst part of the website. Dan's got a "heel" persona but doesn't realize that with heels, there's a comeuppance. We're supposed to hate him but in the end, he's supposed to get defeated by someone who we cheer for. The perfect example is the live Mario Party where Dan being antagonistic and obnoxious was turned into an amazing moment because he lost to the most pleasant person on staff, Drew. His heel tactics genuinely made the moment better. The problem is, Giant Bomb doesn't predetermine their competitive content so sometimes Dan being a complete asshole just ends with... Him being a complete asshole for two hours. He watches enough wrestling that I don't understand why he doesn't realize his "heeling it up" is supposed to be something we want to see him slapped down for. If nothing happens, it's just a video of someone taunting the people everyone else actually enjoys.
