Oh sure, i mean ill admit im completely ignorant of all the nuances of the fighting game scene. But watching some of those big fights live was alot more fun than i thought it was going to be.

I just clicked giant bomb and saw that the EVO stream was still going so i clicked that because well, i had nothing else going on, so why not? Never really watched competitive fighting game stuff before. Apparently i caught the finals of the entire thing, street fighter 4. which i played once.

It was klinda awesome though, chat was going nuts, the announcers were saying shit i didnt understand.

Watching the fights itself i didnt really unstand why the guy playing as Rose got his super so often he could practically spam it and the other guy as eyepatch shorts dude never got his super? I dunno i dont know the game. I rooted for eyepatch shorts guy cus he seemed like the underdog.

Next year i think ill watch more! seems fun!

I ignored a majority of EVO but i did catch the final few matches for the street fighter champion or whatever, and it was actually pretty intense. It was fun to watch. Maybe i shoulda watched more of this!

Now the poor TC who made the thread almost 4 years ago in a moment of weakness has to answer to a bunch of dipshits wanting an update on his life and how it all turned out as if his life was some amusementshow for them?

Giant bomb seriously needs to adopts some sort of autolocking thing for their threads. Stuff like this shouldnt come back to haunt people. Seriously this is messed up. seems like an issue the mods should take into account. @rorie

I played REALLY deep into FF12, then died after not saving for like 5 hours, then threw down the controller and never played it again, after telling a friend where i died it was apparent i was near the end of the game. I barely remember the story at all. I'm not even exaggerating, all i remember was it was a vaguely political story, the "main" character was utterly irrelevant to the plot and there was a weird "sexy" dominatrix bunny-people race. A very forgettable game. I'd skip it.

Weird. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. "he raped a friend of a friend of mine almost 10 years ago!" sounds pretty flimsy to me.

Silvermedals are better, cus we dont get free t-shirts (which they have to pay for) and we ultimately pay them more money per year, so if you want to support the site, a monthly subscription actually helps them out more if you look at the economics.

Plus you can keep em on their toes by being able to unsubscribe so easily, speaking of which i totally need to resubscribe, i canceled like a week ago cus things were getting crappy but this week they TOTALLY REDEEMED themselves.
