I wouldn't lose any respect for GB if they covered E3, since it's a really important event for journalists to cover. However, I'm stating it here right now that I think them boycotting it is so unlikely (but very ballsy if they did) that if they did boycott it I'd sign up as a paid member without second thought.
I did a reverse one once when I was almost hit by a truck. I dodge-rolled directly backwards, rolled up into a slight ball, and then hopped onto my feet. I shit you not, I felt so awesome afterwards.
I’m a pretty staunch subscriber to the Unified Mario Kart Alpha Theory. For the non-scholars out there, this theory dictates that, within a certain margin of error, a person’s first Mario Kart game will always be their favorite, and any subsequent Mario Kart experiences are spent trying to recapture that initial, and fairly specific, buzz of camaraderie, trash-talk, and impossible, shamelessly computer-assisted comebacks.

And my first was Mario Kart 64, which is my favorite.
My first Mario Kart was SNES, and I played it with Bros.
I just like how the entire plot represents a giant middle finger to people who liked MGS1. Seriously, the moment where I realized that everything was meant to be the exact same is the moment I realized how delightfully batshit this whole series is.
I mean, at least Zelda was set on an ocean that one time.
@ripsaw117: You're right graphics aren't everything. Which is why people can still be fine playing Skyrim on the Xbox 360 or PS3 and not "avoid the console version like the plague."
The problem is that you are a graphics whore who can't see past the pixel count on screen or framerate issues and just play the game for what it is.
I thought I'd chime in and say that I LOVE a high resolution, so when I game on pc I AIM for the highest resolution I can get with a steady framerate.
That being said, I don't really care how GOOD a game looks technically if the art direction is good, BUT I swear a bad framerate pisses me off so bad, and distracts me greatly. I've been that way since the NES days. (I'd even go back to the 320x240 resolution for games if it weren't for the lack of space for detail and gameplay environment.)
@Humanity: Yeah, I guess what I meant to say is that I have a ton of fun playing solo on Battlefield, but I wouldn't be as interested in playing them for 100+ hours each were it not for the fact I play them often with friends (and sometimes alone)
