Characters seem completely devoid of any discernible motivation or intelligence. Why is it that Wesker stated that Chris and Claire were starting to annoy him when they had just met? I like how they had to completely kill all the other movies plots in the first 15 minutes, most of the film was spent on disposable action sequences and cheesy dialogue. Why for gods sake did Alice not recognize arcadia as a fucking trap? Tere was a god damned plane graveyard and a mind controlled friend there with extreme amnesia, despite this she seemed genuinely surprised that umbrella was involved. Mila Jovovich still can't act and it's not like her supporting cast was great anyways. The whole movie felt like even the director didn't give a crap about it. For example When they go to visit chris they say they're sending the guard on break, instead the check out some noise and put him back on break because fuck continuity. It's just a bunch of strung together action sequences punctuated bya few lazily done, poorly explained bones to fans of the resident evil games.
Edit, it appears you liked it in a so bad it's good way, so that makes a little more sense. I should really learn to read better. But still I just couldn't get past these issues to even enjoy the movie. "
yes the movie made no sense at all, and there were some terrible mistakes like the one you pointed out, it was really predictable too but I knew it would be a really fucking bad and cheesy movie, but I kind of enjoy this kind of sucky movies so it's all good. :P
well, just as I expected, it was a really fucking bad adaptation, but I really enjoyed it, it's so bad that it's actually good, the story is non-existent, but the action is actually good and some of the 3D scenes are awesome, and there are some nice cameos too.
imo the first movie was the best, but this one comes close.
" I didn't take pictures of it, but one time I mistimed a jump on a BMX bike which had its seat improperly installed. My nutsack was ruptured and there was blood everywhere. From now on I always wear a cup as well as a helmet. "
