Some very articulate points, particularly at the start. You’re right, it’s a crime plain and simple. I briefly scrolled Twitter (mistake) and then stopped, there seemed to be an overall lack of empathy and compassion for the human beings this affects.
@mkernstock27: Maybe just Sonic Mania 2 then? Mania and Sonic Generations are probably my favourites in recent years but a lot of that was playing to nostalgia, it worked but it isn't sustainable. I don't envy any dev trying to make a fresh and commercially successful Sonic game.
@shindig: Code it. Ship it. Done. In all seriousness, as a lifelong Sonic fan (31 years old), I'm amazed they haven't already. Literally anything would be better at this point.
Echoing what many others have said, this is a fantastic read. I’ve seen Tenet twice now and I think I ‘get’ most of it, insofar as I understand what’s supposed to be happening. It’s a typical Nolan film for sure, good and bad, but unlike say The Dark Knight or Inception, it’s not something I feel I could ever go back to for fun - simply because I feel that film is trying to confuse intentionally so perhaps you focus less on its weaker parts.
As a cricket fan who finds most modern cricket games a bit clunky and lifeless, this was a really enjoyable read! Looking forward to the next instalment!
