It depends how long the movie has been out. I avoid checking the ratings for new releases, because those are always inflated. But if I want to see a movie, say, from 5 years ago I feel the ratings are generally fine.
Blanche (Belgium) should've won last year. I mainly watch for shits and giggles, but that was a fucking gutpunch. Her visibly freaking out on stage, especially in the semifinals, actually went very well with the song's themes and probably made it the only song in eurovision history with actual soul.
Belgium's looking good again, though my favourite this year is Switzerland (apparently I'm the only one who likes them... suits me fine). I like Latvia's entry as well.
To me it reads more like Valve will be acting as a publisher for what is now an in-house studio. With Campo Santo being only twelve people it seems like a minor move for Valve. I guess they saw something they liked.
Looks good... a shorter loot phase will make the gear you take into the mid game more varied between games, and a more forgiving late circle (ie. one you can outrun) will at least give you a fighting chance when you get a bad circle in the late game. So I agree with the philosophy behind the changes. That said, they may have overdone it a bit in cutting the blue zone delay time. Although that will partially be compensated by the blue moving slower, so you'll get some time back there.
The only room left in the Battle Royale space is proper esports, which is what PUBG is going for but hasn't achieved yet. The only new BR game I can see succeeding would have to be the CSGO of Battle Royale with beating PUBG to the punch as an additional challenge. It'll take a company like Valve and a 'YOU CAN PLAY THIS RIGHT NOW'-E3 announcement or something very similar to get a foothold, at this point.
Mass Effect 2. I really enjoyed the original, mainly because of its RPG elements. 2 was just a 3rd person shooter that did away with all the parts I enjoyed most.
Bioshock 3. It's so far up its own arse about the laziest quasi-philosophical paradoxes. It's the Inception of videogames, patting itself on the back for how clever it is when it's really rather trite.
The past is a rough place, man. What we get is the romanticised annals of the very very few that were well off enough to at least be in a position to document their lives. Anyone that isn't the elite had pretty shitty lives until well into the twentieth century. The odds of me travelling back in time and ending up in a position to enjoy it are just too slim.
I would be more inclined to take my chances with the future, but the truth is that historically speaking we all are so unbelievably lucky to live in the part of the world that we do in the time that we do one would have to be foolishly optimistic to gamble the future will be even better.
