Did they get permission to use the name, Abobo, the style and everything else in a product of their own that they will market and make money on? No problem in that case.
This is a quote from the devs on RCR:U forums "In our case we had a licensor/licensee agreement with Million Co. Ltd for exclusive right to make a River City Ransom original title worldwide."
