ALL THESE WORLDS ARE YOURS EXCEPT EUROPA ATTEMPT NO LANDINGS THERE
Clarke books generally had poor sequels, but I still enjoyed reading the Space Odyssey series at a pretty young age. The ill-fated chinese landing on Europa is damn evocative.
@chaser324: Endurance Runs being an actual daily investment was a huge part of the early site experience, I understand they're a logistical nightmare but its the only way to get the community interaction. I know pre-recording happened with Chrono Trigger too, but in general I'd put it up there as a key difference between an Endurance Run and a regular Lets Play.
That said, I don't know that I would have the fortitude to finish playing this game if this was going on and it wasn't already in the can.
@pg77: Missions are circles, if its colored solid then you've finished the mission previously. You should get some details about when a mission fits in by hovering over it - like Jeff and Dan did when they almost started a Taken King mission.
Jeff shows the quest system in the video. If you were playing before that was added head to the room in the centre of the tower, with the Class NPCs, and you can grab it from a blue console on the right wall.
@kendoebi: It's always interesting to see someone appear on the site when they're a bigger fan of the subject matter than the commentary.
I'm getting gorillas on Bungie net right now or I'd quote my playtime at you, somewhere in the region of 20 days.
The staff do genuinely enjoy this game, at its best, but they aren't the sort of people to clock in on the regular to grab their weekly spektar drops or whatever the reward loop is this season. In terms of raw, structured content which doesnt reuse the map there are maybe two and a half CoD-sized campaigns worth of story in Destiny, spread over the initial release, two weak DLC, a solid expansion in TTK and RoI which sure looks like a chunky version of House of Wolves.
There are some genuine great aspects to Destiny, but when you compare its merits against other shooters it comes across as confused with some real structural flaws.
