Good list, can't wait to play Skyoshock :D Also, just in case you didn't know, the site actually has a feature where you can create nicely formatted lists.

I tried to make the list but it wasn't formatting properly. I'm using Chrome, if that makes a difference.

@Marcsman: While I enjoy David Jaffe and his antics, I really don't like any of his games. Twisted metal doesn't appeal to me. For the longest time I thought I was the only one who didn't enjoy the God of War series.

What I am looking forward to the most is Mass Effect 3, that is probably going to be my only day one buy of 2012.

I'm pretty stoked for Diablo III in addition to many of the games on that list. As of right now, it's PC-only, but who knows what the future holds?I may have spoken prematurely.

Mass Effect and Bioshock are the games that I bought a 360 for back in '07. And Mass Effect 3 and Bioshock Infinite are the games I'm most looking forward to 5 years later.

Bioshock Infinite, for sure.
And I'm also waiting to see what the indie side of the business comes up with.

@Doctorchimp: I didn't enjoy Prey, though I hear they've made some interesting changes. Kingdoms of Amalur doesn't interest me, that's a game I'll have to try before I buy. The games on my list are all day 1 purchases.

@Coreymw: I didn't even play Prey 1.

Prey 2 has little to do with that game. It's just an open alien world where you run around and catch bounties.

I feel faitly similarly to yourself. I'm now not so sure about "I am alive" compared to the preview I read about it 3 or 4 years ago and since it's scope will probably be more limited, but I'll be paying attention to what people say about it.

Also, heck yes to The Witness. That might be the game I'm most hyped for just because Blow's way of designing and thinking means there could be some really unique moments and things tried out that have never been seen before. I'm hoping it will give me at least one moment where ideas it's being feeding me throughout the game suddenly come together and change everything about what I thought about things beforehand. Maybe it won't end up being that kind of game, but it'll be great whatever.
