As much as I like Star Wars and that universe I would really like to see Lucas tackle a new IP, or maybe consider directing or producing some of the extended universe fiction in to feature length films. Whether these films are shot in 3D or not, could be interesting.

Oh christ, I didn't recognize this until around 1:00 when the beat drops. I heard this song all over Macedonia, especially in Kavadarci back in June. You would hear it in clubs, bars, and restaurants all around town. Techno/dance music as   htr10 said, is very popular in Europe and has been for quite some time.

That is strange, I would think if it's a poor connection or some sort of hardware issue, disc excluded, then it would happen during any video playback via that connection. If you can't recreate this issue with any other game, then I would definitely say it's a disc issue and you might want to contact Microsoft.

@Yeloow: Jesus, why so defensive... its the internet, people are naturally skeptical. Good for you that you got a signed manual, that's truly awesome. It would be cool to post a pic, but people aren't exactly up in arms because you "could" be lying.

@Halberdierv2: I don't think a burqa is any more of a security risk than wearing a hoodie with huge sunglasses is, and that's entirely legal to do so:

Wearing a burqa for those who are devout followers of the islamic culture is sometimes seen as simply part of a tradition more so than religious, misogynistic oppression.

I don't live in France, but I would assume you could walk down the street in a halloween mask if you wanted to, aside from the odd stares you may get. Terrorism isn't going anywhere any time soon, neither is conflict in the middle east.

You answered your own question. 343 Industries, an internal division of Microsoft along with former Bungie players Frank O'Connor and Nathan Walpole with continue making games within the Halo franchise.

There are quite a few games like ROTT that I would love to have make an Xbox Live Arcade appearance. Quake, Blood... a lot of older action games that I had when I was a teen that I never really finished or just carry a great deal of nostalgia. I never finished Duke Nukem 3D until I downloaded it on the 360. It would be nice to go back through these games now.

I think it was most definitely a case of altering the main idea behind ShadowRun and disregarding what fans of the series expect. Much in the same vein of the recently announced Bioshock Infinite and how it appears that the game uses the Bioshock name solely as a marketing ploy. I think a lot of people didn't even try the game before dismissing it as something they would not like.

I was a huge fan of the SNES version, and upon hearing that it would be a FPS I thought it may be a nice divergence from the isometric gameplay of the original; a FPS with RPG trappings sounded interesting. I later learned that it was a multiplayer focused game without any narrative, I admit to being disappointed as well. Not only that, but the actual game was short on content and variety.. it was just an anemic experience. Jeff agreed

@SpiralStairs: There was so much more to Earthbound than just the cartridge too. The oversized box including the full game guide, the scratch and sniff cards that all smelled horrible... the game itself was quirky and at times very endearing. Scenes like this from the game stuck with me for some reason, not to mention the music. If you are unaware there was a remix project some time ago and they offer up the fruits of their labor here

I'm not sure if the game plays solely on nostalgia for me, and the time period in which I played the game, or if it was really a hallmark in game design. Either way I let a friend borrow it when I was in high school and we went our separate ways, and I never saw the game again. It's going for upwards of $100 for just the cart on eBay.

  • Konami's Metal Warriors (which I just looked up and is running for 65 dollars, sheesh)
  • Konami's Cybernator
  • A XBLA version of Battlezone in HD (the 1998 update, not the already present 1980 arcade version)
  • XBLA version of  Sega's Rocket Jockey
  • Barking Dog Studios' Global Operations
  • Not so much a remake but Mother 2 (Earthbound) release for the Wii. A reason to actually dust that system off and play it. This probably won't happen however
