So this is another list that was converted over with the site redesign. The new site doesn't like this list because it's too long. The old site wanted to be able to track game lists like this, but it also was not designed for a collector at the levels to which I have achieved (if you want to call it an achievement I guess haha).
I no longer update my collection of games on Giant Bomb (there are phone apps and websites that do this much better) so if you want to do that I recommend supporting a phone app or something. Giant Bomb sources out it's wiki and these apps almost all use Giant Bomb's wiki for the database information.
I have significantly more than 1000 unique games at this point, across various digital platforms, physical media, and multiple consoles. It is too much for Giant Bomb to handle, and too complicated a task for anything but a program that is designed to tally that information (same goes for my movie collection).
I would have written this on the list itself, but the site doesn't like long lists anymore so if I try to edit it it will freak out. I haven't decided if I will erase the list yet for that reason, and other reasons, but for now it's just here as an historical artifact of a time when I tried to do this and wrote my thoughts on 125 games from my collection in a single list.
I'm not really a fan of the "Dan acts like a petulant child and no one does anything about it" schtick.
I'm not really into wrestling, either, which is all Dan is continuing to do. Play this supposed wrestling heel persona we all know is actually Dan just being Dan because he hasn't actually grown up he just wants to troll everybody all the time.
I'm glad at least all he did was something another player could easily change back because even his reasoning is completely stupid and not even thought out and clearly just "I don't want to start a new character".
Thank God Vinny did not let him change Brad. Getting rid of Dave Lang was bad enough.
Seriously, the next player should change Dave Lang back and make Dan a level 1 scrub.
I like funny game play videos. I'm just saying that Dan doing things in spite of everyone else (rather than for the team) just comes off mean and self serving much like the Kingdom Hearts play through that Ben is doing. I don't find being mean to people funny.
And if this is supposed to be a Kaufman-esque bit it's being done poorly (I believe Dan wants people to think thats what it is, but I don't believe that is really what this is. This is Dan setting off stink bombs in a bar because there is too many people and he cant order a drink).
That's just my opinion on the matter. Other than coming up with a stupid reason to remove Dave Lang's character from his accomplishments so he didn't have to roll a new scrub, and giving himself as many medals as the game allowed just to serve himself, this video was fine.
Abby, dashing is not the problem. Just play strategically. Sometimes you have to dash. If someone is telling you to never dash they are wrong. Maybe don't dash when you have enemies in overwatch though =P
But good news is the monster is dead. For now. Until Dan 2 arrives haha

Edit: BTW, The aliens brutalized, and killed people near the beginning in the shanty town which keep in mind happened before Roddy even got the glasses for the first time so everything he does is in retaliation after that.
@boonsong: It's one of the best, but also one of the hardest to recommend as it's a very slow, surrealist, film and if I recall has only one line repeated throughout which bothers some people (I say this from experience- anyone I've ever watched it with always gets annoyed with the repeated dialogue haha).
I love it, though. Both his interpretation of the story, and his animation, are striking to me. I feel if you're going to stray from the book, that's totally fine, and he is one of the examples of doing that very well.
