I can't believe it's been a year already. I'm not sure what to say that hasn't been said before. I never met him, but like many fans of GB I considered him a friend, even if all I did was hear and seem him on podcasts and videos.
I think it was Jeff who said something to the effect that Ryan treated life as if it was made for his amusement. What a great perspective to have, especially when going through such tough times.
Sorry to hear that. At my job I have to call debt collectors a lot. They can be really rude. Even their supervisors. And it seems as if the standards for running a collection agency are non-existent. I wish there were harsher laws in place for when they could call you, how often, etc. There's no accountability.
Hello. I'm new to the forums, but I've been using the site, watching videos and listening to the podcasts for at least 3 years now, maybe 4. I'm into video games, some anime, podcasts, and movies. Nothing too crazy.
It's a fantastic piece of kit. I think I have one around (or at my friend's house.) It's even more fun when you have the HORI pad that's in the shape of the SNES controller, playing GB, GBC, and GBA games on it is perfect. Hopefully the GB crew gets a hold of all that stuff and can get some good video of great games like NInja Five-O, Astro Boy: Omega Factor, Drill Dozer, etc.
It really is a worthy purchase. I don't see many used ones in the wild though.
