Thank you Ryan. Your podcast and videos got me through some hard times. When I had nobody to help take my mind off the bad craziness around me I could turn to you and the rest of the Giantbomers for some good craziness.

My thoughts to your family, friends and, co-workers.

@darkdragonmage99: Not if the console's are sold out at launch due to pre-orders. If you don't have to, why wait to play the newest awesome games?

@owlmassive: I completely forgot that i did that on the lead up to the 360 release! Traded my xbox and games. It sucked going for months with only my old N64 to play on.

I couldn't do that now though. I have too many hard fought game saves and to many awesome games to play on my 360 to ever consider getting rid of it.

You're right.

People should stop attacking people who are upset enough by people attacking the Xbox One that they then take time to defend the Xbox One.

Wait.., did I get that right?

If so which did you go for, and why?

I've been mostly an Xbox gamer since the first console launched, but i do have a PS3 for my blu-ray movies. My best gaming has been on the 360. Really awesome times.

Having said that i've pre-ordered the PS4 and not the Xbox One for mostly financial reasons. I don't have a lot of disposable income, so pre-owned games make up about 50% of my purchases. Add that to the fact the console is cheaper and it was a no brainer.

I hesitate to mention the other reason because it's hard to explain not wanting an always online camera and mic in my living-room without sounding like a tinfoil hat wearing kook.

No.

I feel happy for Sony.

But then people always tell me I'm a "glass half full" kind of guy.

Wow. That was really boring. Couldn't read it all. Made me wish i already had my PS4 and a bunch of pre-owned games to play instead.

And what about the always on spy device? In George Orwell's 1984 the main character hid from the always connected camera and monitor in a small alcove of his apartment. But not even Orwell could have conceived of a future in which people would pay hundreds of dollars and a monthly fee for the privlage of being spied on. It is truly mind blowing :/
