They've done it. They've created the video form of a list article whose sole purpose is to judge things with arbitrary attributes and piss off their audience. Dan just destroys the idea of what a B game is at the end, so I don't know where they go from here.
At least Ranking of Fighters goes all in on that arbitrary stuff.
I remember Star Wars: The Force Unleashed getting a huge push and investment as being something of a canonical take on the Star Wars EU between Episodes 3 and 4. I'm not sure what about this was a B game in terms of money invested or the level of development put into it. This was the game that ruined LucasArts last attempt at big time development.
You guys might have to rethink what this feature is about or the name since I thought it was about mid-range games, in terms of development and budget. Not just games that didn't hit their high budget goals.
Edit: Having watched this, B Game seems to mean anything that didn't age that well and can be played in a non-serious way.
Brad, the Farpoint Bundle is $80, not $100, and with Best Buy's GCU or Amazon Prime, it's $64. A handful of games were announced to work with it with one of them already being out (Dick Wylde) and another (Brookhaven Experiment) gets an update for it in early June.
It was incredibly rude of Dan and the others to not help Blind Vinny get into houses and pick up loot in the run where he couldn't see buildings. One of them should've held his hand and lead him in to useful items. That's just mistreatment of the disabled.
Edit: At least Jeff starts helping him out later on. Dan just mocks him the entire time.
Surprised Dan tried this out since it came out in the era where he said he ignored all games like this because they were "kiddy" and he was a cool guy man person. He should definitely check out some of the others out there like Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, etc to see what he missed out on.
They really should've done the control tutorial, as it's by far the best around. They basically just give you various options, which then put you immediately into a quick batting practice to try it out to see which option you like best. Same for pitching controls.
