Heyo it’s ya favorite argentinian anime "expert" here with my first real blog post :D!

2020 has been a “little bit weird” with the rona and stuff but that didn't stop anime from happening (it mostly delayed some).

So here is a quick list of all the openings that came out this hell year and I liked them! in no particular order. (sorry for my bad english in advance)

In/Spectre - Mononoke In The Fiction | Uso To Chameleon

Not gonna lie to y'all this anime and this opening caught me by surprise.

A anime that looks like is going to be another shonen of the bunch turns out to be an incredible story about weird spirits, social media, murder mistery and cool characters fighting with their very wrinkly brains. Pretty cool shit.

Dorohedoro - (K)NoW_NAME『Welcome to Chaos』

I'm not super hot on this anime like most of the internet but gad damn this is a good opening. If you like strong women watch this anime!NOW!

Somali and the Forest Spirit - Arigatou wa Kocchi no Kotoba | Naotarou Moriyama

Chillest op of the year… maybe?

Big old Golem finds a little girl in the forest and becomes the ultimate dad ever created in anime history. I fucken love this anime, Somali is the most “must protect kid” in the world and the character development that Golem goes throughout the season is just heartwarming.

Tower of God - Top | Stray Kids

Who the doesnt like k-pop?

I don't know, it’s a textbook shonen. I really don't know… this is the most meh anime of the year. Give this anime 3 episodes and if it doesn't work for you just drop it. (aka the Madoka rule)

SAO: Alicization War of Underworld 2 - Anime | Reona

I really like Reona’s voice and this song fits perfectly with the whole SAO vibe.

It’s SAO at this point you either like it, hate it or dont give a fuck. I personally really like it, especially when shit hits the fan because the fights in this season are incredible.

Fire Force Season 2 - SPARK-AGAIN | Aimer

Aimer is just too good at this shit, every opening she sings is an instant classic.

Fire Force Season 2 - Torch of Liberty | Kana Boon

Kana Boon at it again with good old upbeat j-pop goodness.

WATCH/READ SOUL EATER BEFORE YOU WATCH FIRE FORCE! Don't get me wrong this anime is great and it has really cool moments but it doesn't have the charm of Soul Eater or the characters of Soul Eater.

The God of High School - Contradiction (feat. Tyler Carter) | KSUKE

And now this song will forever be on repeat in my brain until I die.

Shonen ASS Shonen GOHS is probably what made people realize how good MAPPA is. Pretty cool action scenes and really likable characters, what else do you want from a shonen?!

Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2 - DADDY! DADDY! DO! feat. Airi Suzuki | Masayuki Suzuki

I have no words to describe Masayuki Suzuki’s incommensurable level of styyyyyle, he is old school romantic dynamite. And Airi Suzuki’s sweet voice is just perfect for this song.

This light, funny and often ridiculous romcom is just what everybody needs to relax during these hell times we live in.

Golden Kamuy Season 3 - Grey | Fomare

Underrated opening for an underrated anime.

UNDERRATED ANIME OF THE DECADE! The writing on this anime is incredible. It makes it impossible not to immerse yourself in Meiji Era’s Japan. The plot is intriguing and the characters are the best. This anime is just the best, go watch it pls.

Haikyuu!! To The Top - Phoenix | Burnout Syndromes

Burnout Syndromes always pumping you up to get out there and do some shit. (oh right we can't cuz rona -.-” fuck!).

Even if you believe you don't like sports anime you should definitely give Haikyuu a fair chance. This anime is known for converting normies like you into sports anime fans. PSA: if you like real sports and feel really strong about a team, this anime will make you care about Karasuno and it will make you cry to some degree.

Shingeki no Kyojin Final Season - My War | Shinsei Kamattechan

As a manga reader i can assure you this opening fits perfectly the tone and atmosphere of the last moments of this story. Is dark and eerie as fuck, just beatiful. (It gets extra points for the chorus in spanish)

I don't know dude it’s attack on titan, its a bunch of big dudes trying to eat small dudes and then the small dudes get really good at killing the big dudes. And after that it gets kinda complicated bc the world is not what it seems it is and shit happens.

Jujutsu Kaisen - Kaikai Kitan | Eve

Probably one of the best openings for a shonen ever. This one is up there with “Silhouette”, “Rolling Star”, “We Are”, etc. It captures the feel of the anime perfectly, it builds up perfectly, it’s a bop. The visuals are just incredible, they filled this opening with references and symbolism almost like caresing the heart of manga readers. Megumi explores an underground foggy tunnel almost like he is on a hunt for a curse. Kugisaki literally exiting the shadow and stepping into the bright light representing her arrival to the main scenario of the city of Tokyo. The introduccion of all the second year students and BEST BOY TODO. Gojo on top of the Tokyo Needle looking down on the city to show his position as the strongest sorcerer in the world. OMG that moment when Sukuna pops out Itadori’s cheek to macabrely mock him during one of Itadori’s worst moments in the story of the show is just perfect. Itadori’s garden slowly filling up with people he cares about in complain to the promised he made to his grandpa. This opening is just aaaahhh so gooooooooood!

Yall should watch Jujutsu Kaisen.

Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! - Easy Breezy | Chemilco

This is my favorite opening of the year. This is Happiness in opening form.

If you are an artist you should 100% watch this anime about making anime. You will fall in love with this anime and its cast of awesome creative characters (Kanamori best girl).

And i think i'm done, i watched more anime but the openings from those were kinda meh.
