Games that slipped through the cracks -- 2015 edition.
Just some games that I thought were quite good but didn't get the press I think they deserved.

Did new things in the somewhat stale 4x genre. My current favorite when in a strategic mood.

Super high skill ceiling and now free-to-play. Lots of updates and silly gear.

A solid collectible card game with some really interesting/humorous cards. Rift Run mode is a rip-off of Hearthstone's arena mode but way easier to go infinite (~5 wins I think).

If you played Scorched Earth back in the day this will feel familiar. Planetary physics and different weapon-types make it pretty interesting.
