I think the fact you guys felt like you even needed to reach out or explain yourselves shows just how considerate and thoughtful the lot of you are. I continue to feel for you guys and Ryan's family and hope you all heal/get everything sorted out as best you can.

Wanting to know isn't just for closure & gossip. People also want to know when things like this happen to young people because they want to know how they could prevent it from happening to themselves or their own family & friends.

exactly, i have 3 family members with sleep apnea, ryan's case is a horrific reminder that sleep apnea is very lethal and should not be underestimated. and im going to do some extra research on sleep apnea now.

Yeah, my dad has it, so this sort of stresses me out a bit. Should give him a call when I get off work.

There was also a tweet on the day he died from his wife: she mentioned sending her brother to wake him up. Such a bummer. At least, we can hope, it was peaceful and painless.

This is really awesome. Good work. Perhaps my favorite scene from that film:

It looks awesome.

The part where Ryan realizes just how fucking awesome the music is is like pure video game joy in a bottle.

Also, just how much fun he and Patrick are clearly having.

Ugh. I can't even fucking process this. Listening to the Bombcast got me through some really shitty times at college. Even when super stressed, they cracked me up. I've never really been this upset over the passing of someone I don't know. Not sure how to process it.

I bet "Penny" is Penny Flame

is it weird that I was thinking the same thing?

In my search, I've found that Penny Flame retired from porn in 2009.

So, CONFIRMED: NOT PENNY FLAME (or her boat).

"I"ll see ya in another E3, brotha."

It doesn't innovate, but it does provide these things you're saying at a cheaper price point.

I don't know of any PC I can get with an HDMI out, with an OS optimized for controller and large display, that is also open to the point where I can easily load it up with emulators and ROMs.

I mean, I'd love to break out my NES / SNES to play some classics, but this will be a lot easier to manage. I'll also soon be able to upload some staged images to Facebook of my 17 month old playing Super Mario Bros. or something, so that's awesome.

Theoretically a Raspberry Pi could do the same things, right? Assuming there're linux versions of the emulators. And that thing's only $25 for a the barebones board. It probably wouldn't handle emulation quite as well, but I'm not sure.

Have a buddy who built a Pi and he plays up to PS1 games on it just fine. He says the PS1 stuff can sometimes get a little funky due to drivers and what not, but previous generation is great.
