it was in the weekly update that giving the option to boot upon betrayal takes into account not just previous betrayals but also damage inflicted on teammates.

You do realize you actually get banned from matchmaking after you've quit one too many times? And the bloom is the entire point of the DMR. You have to control your trigger finger as WELL as aim properly. It's actually far more accurate than the BR (which could never ever cope on blood gulch/haemorrhage in its halo 3 guise) as well when you're using it properly. I suspect this inability is also the cause of your "overpowering jetapcks". Because they're just slow moving targets with nowhere to hide that EVERYONE can see and shoot at.

No levels with janky enemies and weird stuff that just ruined the flow. I don't know if you all agree, but the flood was the worst part of the old ones. "
Um, how about the last level? As Jeff said in his review, there is literally a WALL of enemies, in multiple waves, that you must defeat before the end. "
How is that a bad thing? I thought it was amazingly epic (i'm assuming you mean the bit where you're at the landing pad as phantoms vomit enemies time and time again). I was playing on heroic and the only time I actually died was when the grav hammer brute caught me by surprise.

I figured i'd bump this instead of make a new thread...

There certainly will be a forza 4. Expect late 2011/early 2012. To be honest though, I don't think there needs to be - Forza 3 could last 5 years simply on fully experiencing and racing all the cars alone. Trouble is, you can't really do that. Racing against AI gets very old, and because of turn10s neglect of the online multiplayer system, there are a mere handful of cars that dominate each class. Which means you either spend ages looking in frustration for alternatives to experience whilst still being a race competitior (Like the Mclaren F1 in S-class, Rossion Q1 in A...), or you're simply a mindless sheep who won't get bored racing the same old AWD shitbox.

Anyway... It all looked very promising when they added the RWD lobbies... there was a huge new set of cars you could experience in a race environment. Until the RWD hoppers got removed that is. And don't get me wrong, there are some awesome intense racing situations in multi-class, as well as an accidental yet incredibly neat glitch where your rank always goes down even if you won your class; it filters out all the rank-obsessed idiots with awesome effects - Leaving a remainder of excellent racers who aren't afraid to try out wacky oddball cars for the hell of it.

But since, there hasn't been a single change or addition to the MM pile - Sure, there are lots of playground gametypes, but they're more of a joke for when you're too drunk to play properly - There's no depth or real excitement in them. I would honestly pay THOUSANDS of MS points for them just to put in a few hoppers where you can experience different things. Why can't we have a V8 supercars hopper? Or a GT2 hopper? Why can't turn10 provide these sort of things which they said they would be alternating weekly prior to release? They said adding a hopper was effectively a mere button press... don't you think it's about time somebody did that in their coffee break or something?

If you're playing a game such as GT5 or forza... then none is my reccomendation. Quite apart from both games having some spectacular engine sounds, they generally require vast amounts of concentration for pretty much anything that isn't simply strolling through season play with the autobrake on. And music which does not have your full attention is simply noise... although i suppose with such ghastly recommendations you probably won't notice the difference.

The fail in this thread is palpable. I'd say you should all go to gamespot, but gamespot at least is polite due to over-zealous moderating. My favourite quote so far though, is this...

" In the single player, you're going to circle strafe around aliens until they are dead. In the multiplayer, there will be one room with an energy sword in it, and everyone will run into the room, and take turns dying so they can hold the sword for 10 seconds. If you like both of those things, Halo is for you. (I happen to like the single player, multiplayer is cool to for a few days.) "

QFT. It's tragic that they fell so far from the sheer excellence that was PGR. I sure hope the same doesn't happen to the now-activision bungie...

I think this says it all really. If you think it's to do with people having "problems" (and seriously, how many people have problems by that definition?} then you really are a twat...

Invasion was rather much of a disappointment, but, intentionally or otherwise, bungie created the best small-team game of all time with network test. It needs to be in the full game.
