GB is sadly dead in my eyes. After everyone left the site became nothing anymore. I came here for the people and now the people are gone.

Maybe someday they will have their Phoenix moment and rise back up into something I want to watch. But it doesn't look like it. I bled black and red since the site came out but, I just can't anymore. I cant even rewatch the old stuff. It just makes me sad for some reason. Which really sucks. I thought I would always have that.

Anyway, they scammed an extra year sub out of me by it renewing a month before it was announced everyone was leaving. Still kind of salty about that. But nothing to be done about it I guess. Will check back in another 3 or 4 months and see if the sites still here or not.

Etherway, thanks for the memories. And for allowing me to feel like I was part of a cool community for a long time.

@carboot_soul: With the exception of once since I joined in 2009, nearly everytime they have a sale it is perfectly timed to only happen when I have no money. And ends within 24/48 hours me getting paid.

Is there something I can do with that store credit i get for yearly subscription? There's never anything in the store i want, or a size I can wear, and its always too expensive anyway due to being in us dollars. Can I not just have it taken off the yearly price? Or be refunded that amount? Always felt like a waste.

I always sub for like 2 or 3 years at a time so I never think to pay attention to when a sub sale shows up. I know they are typically around holidays iirc? I have had the misfortune of having my subscription fall in a dead zone where there hasn't usually been one almost since I joined back when the site introduced paid subs. And when they do come along it's always timed perfectly without fail to be when I have no money. And conveniently ends days before a pay comes in. So I never get to stack up.

People warned that this is what would happen after a couple generations. Now everyone is "shockedpikachu.png" when they did it. This is the digital future everyone asked for. Enjoy it.

Rats are super cute. If I hadn't had so many at once I think I would have enjoyed them more. But I'm always a cat guy. Love the little fuckers despite them often driving me nuts.

Currently running a EVGA 1050 dual fan, 8 GB DDR4, and an Intel 6600. Honestly want to try it on there for laughs. But once my lawsuit settlement comes in I'm planning to upgrade. Was gonna go amd a few months ago, but amazon decided I shouldn't. Which was the one silver lining to the whole debacle. As now I'm probably gonna wait until the next Gen stuff comes out and see how they compare. Will ether get the same. Thing for less because of price drops, or the new tech. I'm in that phase where I need to upgrade at the motherboard level. So that basicly means new everything.

Have no interest personally. Just gonna stick to my pc. Consoles are too expensive for me.
