It's posted in a public forum because she was being informative. People like having some insight into design problems. She was spending her time as a dev with experience to inform people about the interesting problems they have with parts of their game.
Why would that be an invitation for an uninformed influencer to come in and say "But have you tried this incredibly basic thing? I think that would work." Not everything done in public is an invitation for *Engagement*
Of course its an invitation for engagement, the whole idea that you should post something to twitter and expect people to not respond is ridiculous. While I'm sure everyone would prefer that only knowledgeable people ask serious and useful questions most readers won't be at that level. If she was trying to inform people and the question came from genuine ignorance this was a perfect opportunity for a follow up post on exactly why it doesn't work. It he was being condescending it was also a better way to put him in his place by outlining just how dumb an idea it is.
I think if you are posting stuff online in any capacity its incredibly rude to try to hide from the feedback, the very act of posting it publicly is soliciting feedback. The whole dont @ me meme on twitter is extremely grating, if you don't want to talk about it don't post it, you aren't more important than everyone else. I get that people don't want to deal with feedback because idiots are just going to fight you when you tell them they are wrong, but you are burning everyone and isolating yourself from real feedback by completely disengaging.
But the same applies to people giving bad or shitty feedback, they should expect to get no response or be called out if they are wasting peoples time, or even be blocked or banned. I'd hope that any disagreement was more civil though, calling people asshats and threatening to block them with no explanation crosses a line. But it shouldn't have required anymore than an apology. And gamergaters still need to be hounded off the internet entirely.

So I think this game really suffered being rushed for the movie release. Its basically an early access of what could be a very good game if they keep working on it for a year or two. I worry the movie people have pulled funds and think its done as is. I would buy this if they really develop it but we will probably have to wait on a sequel.
Dan asked on the beastcast if there is freeplay. Its Isla Nublar that you unlock from getting a 4-star rating on the first map. Theres not any options for it right now and you are stuck with infinite money turned on.

Dan asked on the beastcast if theres sandbox mode. Its the main island isla Nubla you unlock after getting some stars on the tutorial islands. Although its infinite money right now and doesn't really give you many options or the ability to turn off infinite money, I want to pick this game up but its basically an early access game pretending to be finished because they had to release with the movie (The pricing is the most ridiculous part, priced as if they had finished). I really hope they support it as much or more than planet coaster because I think they could take it somewhere good, but we might have to wait for the sequel for that.
@boonsong: I don't think anyone in the comments believes that. Its just an unfortunate reminder of the people that do think like that, who are very insistent on all the news being about them.
Nationalism is shitty and my hate for it vast, if the series is meant to be a piss take its not really clear. I am only watching because its seems Dan and Abby came up with a dumb idea to frame a series because of other holiday themes they've done, which can mostly be ignored once they start playing. Does leave me thinking boy America sure is a terrible place.
