My GOTY 2013
These are my favorite games of 2013 that I have played so far. Games that I am still planning to play are Assassin's Creed 4, Killzone: Shadowfall, Walking Dead S2 and Persona 4 Arena.

A great remake of one of my favorite games of all time.

Fantastic Story with not the greatest gameplay but Bioshock Infinite is still very good.

A great emotional story with great gameplay. The Last of Us probably has the best atmosphere of any game in 2013.

I am a huge fan of David Cage's games and Beyond: Two Souls is another great example of why.

Great and funny references to the previous games and neat super power abilities makes Saints Row 4 one of the better open world games this year.

Probably my biggest surprise of the year.Before Awakening I had never played a Fire Emblem game but it does a fantastic job of pulling you in and not letting you go 'till the end.

Tomb Raider is an overall great game. It does not try to do anything really original but rather borrows stuff from the best in the genre and succeeds in this.

Grand Theft Auto 5 does a fantastic job with the setting and vibe. There are several aspects it does better than GTA 4 such as the gameplay but there are also some parts that are worse including: Multiplayer, Story

Starbound has set a fantastic foundation for the future. The gameplay is similar to Terraria but that can only be regarded as a complement.

A fun game that has a nice twist to differentiate itself from other games in the same genre.
