I think my sub lapsed once because i forgot to update my CC info. I will continue to give money to this website about video games as long as I gather some enjoyment from it. Changes will happen, from Sausalito to Whiskey Media to CBS to Ryan passing to the multiple coasts and the numerous staff changes, I am a different person than when I started following but I trust this website can continue on in a fashion that I will enjoy with the threatthat is Jeff Gerstmann. Hell I pay Netflix, Amazon, and others for their streaming services even though i may not use them a whole bunch so why not help the little guy.

I started with Yakuza 0 as my first game and then Kiwami when it released. From the release of Kiwami in August I played through 2-5 that winter and 6 about a year later (yes, I played the PS2 version since I couldn't wait for Kiwami 2).

Now having said that most of the minigames are fun to dabble in as I go along, but the side missions are where it's at. You have to let these games breathe and only do as much as makes you happy. When it gets to be a slog it's time to move on.

@arbitrarywater: Yeah I guess I didn't think of that. I remember Endless Waltz would be on weekends real late at night on TV, don't remember anything of it though. Regarding HxH that arc is where I stopped reading the manga, the constant breaks when it was being written just made it laborious to get back into when it was so wordy. The arc has good bits but when it takes forever to get there it loses its luster. Don't feel bad if you drop it, also holy shit that arc is 60 eps ugh.

Ok so let me preface this by saying I really like real robot shows and have seen all of UC Gundam except the Origin. I am half way through watching Gundam Wing and that show kinda sucks so far, not sure if it's the multi protagonist thing or the characters being pretty dumb. I'm thinking it'll get better because it seems like the real story starts now and that first half was just to get us here, but why do people love that series so much?

By the time I beat the game (40ish hours and 95% substories) I had 4000+ levels built up after maxing out the 3 main skill trees and an A or S rank of Majima everywhere. Basically if you miss any boss deaths with a kiwami/extreme heat move just go back to grinding Majima battles if you feel you need the exp for upgrades. Dragon feels slow, it may get better with the speed boost at rank A I think? I definitely used rush in this game far more than 0. MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA
