So the game runs totally fine on my gaming PC when I'm actually playing the game part, but during all of the little cut scenes the game has, my audio quickly devolves from occasional static and clipping to a full on inception noise "BWAHHHH" and the video typically freezes up around halfway through.

Then the game will eventually end up going back to the game part and be clippy for a second and then return back to normal.

I've seen people experienced this issue with the previous games, but I had no issues with the past ones.

Anyone else having this or better yet have a solution?

@skadave: Every planet lets you kinda run around freely looking for collectibles and usually have a couple different paths. And some big hub areas to explore. Not open world though, I was suggesting that I prefer exploring more tightly designed environments like what they have in R&C, Tomb Raider, Etc.

@teddie: I'm not THAT old yet and I'm still with you man. That was the thing with the side content in the witcher 3 is that it did not feel exciting or interesting to me to explore.

@hypnotoadbrwowrowrow: Totally. That interview kind of made me wish that Blow would consult with every game studio and just yell at them for an hour to make sure their creative goals are super dialed in.

Hey has anyone checked this out?

Loading Video...

I loved asylum and couldn't get into this game at all! And I felt like the main story of the Witcher 3 half as easily as I could get into Witcher 2.

In general I've just been frustrated with how many open world games are getting thrown at me with less polish and systems that don't interlock quite as well (like Fallout 4), and wishing that we got more "open worlds" like we saw in Rise of the Tomb Raider or Ratchet and Clank, where you still feel like you're exploring but in a more achievable, contained environment that is more tightly designed.

Having a big pretty world is cool, but I get over it quickly enough and then get left with more fat than meat.

Thoughts?

Playing it, it might sneak in to my top 10 games of the year list if it keeps up what it's doing.

I thought this game was unfairly overshadowed by XenoBlade and was a far better game. It has some super unique combat mechanics that gel super well in my opinion and a solid story.

I have fluctuated greatly between several smooth matches in a row to seeing every enemy player warp all over the god damn screen and even have enemies in co-op campaign be warping and moving around, and have been unable to pick up weapons at times (poor sentence, whatever).

It's clearly not just me https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/3qdwxa/halo_5_lag_issues/

Anyone else have this? I've never really had connection issues with my other multiplayer games on my current internet. But then I see all the press being like "THIS GAME WORKS GREAT IN THE WILD" and I'm bummed that it isn't working well for me.

It seems to be pretty random, like I said. And worked well during the day for the most part then once the server load got heavier as people got off of work it seemed like everything took a shit.
