Once again I have not really played a lot of the popular big games of the year so this list will be unconventional.

What? This didn't come out this year...? Of course I mean Another Metroid 2 Remake.
It is fantastic. Probably the best Metroid branded thing since Super Metroid.
At first I hated because I didn't have my controller set up correctly, but once I fixed that I played through this game twice! That's a rare thing to do for me.

Overwatch doesn't capture all the things I want from a multiplayer shooter however it's been my go to game for months when I'm feeling down and want to escape reality. Junkrat is a good boy.
