In theory I like simplified controls since I am bad at fighting games and I like fanservice games like Senran Kagura and such but this seems to fail in every department.
Female Shepard romancing Liara was such a controversy at the time at Fox news.
I didn't romance anyone in my "canon" playthrough of the trilogy as a female Shepard but I have romanced pretty much everyone in subsequent playthroughs. I like most of the characters. Tali, Jacob, Garrus, Ashley are probably the favorites though.
I'm all for the simplified controls in SNK Heroines. I am terrible at fighting games. But I was hoping for more to do single player wise. I've heard the single player story is really short.
Bon appetit is a spin-off but the actual games are pretty good. They are Dynasty Warriors esque. The 3ds game is a 2d side scroller which is kind of fun.
Ashley gets a bad rap by being called racist. Her concerns about aliens on the ship is based on military security, not race. Several points in the game she expresses disgust with actual racists, and her mistrust of turians is specifically tied to the First Contact War being so recent. It bums me out that Vinny is shaping Alex's impressions of her based on misconceptions. :/
Edit: I feel like I should clarify a few things:
First: My main point was that I feel that Ashley's character is often dismissed because she is considered racist, despite the writing that went into explaining the understandable prejudices she has and how she overcomes them. The writing never indicates that she believes her race to be superior, or other races to be inferior, which is what I was following as a definition.
Second: I hope I didn't give the impression that I thought Alex handled anything poorly or played the game wrong. I like the way he has been playing, without any foreknowledge of the world. It feels honest, the way he interprets and responds to the things that happen in the game, rather than playing the mechanics to his advantage. That's why I was disappointed, because it felt like his reaction to Ashley was influenced more by Vinny than the game. A similar situation almost happened last week with Garrus. That's just my own opinion on what I like about the feature.
Finally: Racism is bad, in all forms, and is never justified, funny, or harmless.

I love Ashley. She is often misunderstood. It makes considering she had family that died in the war with the Turians that she is mistrustful and she clearly is disgusted with Cerberus and doesn't want anything to do with them even when you join them.
I thought I was out. I had cancelled my subscription and it was going to lapse in a couple of weeks. Then you start with Mass Alex and on top of that a discount. Well now I'm back in even though I never actually left. This is the still the best video game site on the internet.
I love this trilogy so much. I am already looking forward to them playing ME2. I hope they get all the DLC. I just wish they did better with Andromeda. It is not as bad as most people say but it is nowhere near the original games.
With the prices of video cards these days I think I might buy a PS5 whenever it comes instead of upgrading my PC. My GTX1070 is still good enough though so I don't really feel the need for something new. I would get a Pro if it made all games 4k since I have a 4k screen for my computer and PS4 slim. But it is not worth it for a handful of games when my PC is better anyway.
