+3 Bastard Sword and a +2 Mace, using that wooden tower shield you can buy, but I just got a proper metal one so I'll switch to that. I've got the Drangliec sword but no twinkling titanite to upgrade it so I'm sticking with the Bastard as I can upgrade that with some large titanite I found last night.

Still looking for my old friend the Zweihander.

I fell in the river at the jumping tutorial. Yep. Epic.

Same, I made the first jump across, "ok I got this." The back across I manage to somehow turn myself 60 degrees off where I wanted to go and wheeeeeeeeee splat.

Then I kept thinking I was playing Lords of Shadow and hammered R2 to dodge, and the slow zombie men killed me.

Then the hippo man ate me.

Then I was trying to look over an edge and moved the wrong stick.

Then I saw this treasure on a ledge and thought, "maybe the jump goes up enough to get there", it doesn't I slid by the edge and off a cliff.

Then I found these little pig things by the side of a house, they surrounded an murdered me.

Then I asked a nice man in white armor if it hurts him when I hit him with a sword, yes replied let me show you how much.

Then I found out you cannot block arrows with your butt.

Then I found out that shooting fire lizards with arrows makes them upset at you.

Then I discovered that jumping off large trees in an effort to reach distant ledges is probably not a good idea.

Then I discovered that the black barrels are bad, they go kaboom.

I justify my first hour of total ineptitude by thinking that maybe being recently undead makes you feel drunk.

So Dynasty Warriors Gundam made it to the South Pole before me. I'm not gonna be a sore loser, but, c'mon.

A pretty neat pile, I must say. Bravo community.

It was a tough decision, but it came down to one thing...

I already had that Dynasty Warriors Gundam.

If it makes you feel any better Garzey's Wing also beat you to South Pole.

Robocop 2 has some very good moments. The unveiling montage posted above being one of its best. The new main villain Cain is a interesting change from the the first movies Clarence, a move to a more reserved psycho (until they make him a robot). The transition to the drugs as main ill they are combating is a good satirical move with the 90s "war on drugs" stuff.

I have one really huge problem with this movie though, the central plot point of turning Cain into the next Robocop is just too absurdly contrived for me. I just don't understand how the new evil corporate lady (I forget her name) manages to convince everyone that putting a drug crazed criminal kingpin into a huge robot suit with a mini-gun is a GOOD IDEA. The one nerdy scientist guy opposes it, but he's the only one, its crazy it seems like anybody would say "Wait what? No that just crazy he'd start killing people, we're not doing that."

I know its a logical quibble with something thats just supposed to be absurd, but it just bugs the crap out of me that everyone seems so hot to jump into what is so clearly a terrible dangerous stupid idea that goes wrong almost immediately.

At some point Take Two has got to comment on this in some way. I can't imagine their shareholders are going to stomach this without some kind of explanation. It just doesn't seem to add up, Irrational by most accounts was successful and adding value so it seems crazy that Take Two would allow it to be suddenly closed on Levine's word alone. Take Two had to be involved in the decision and this isn't something that happens overnight.

@daggon55: Pyromancy damage is not based on INT, the only thing that affects it is DEX and that just speeds up the cast time.

Ah yes you are right, I saw the scale number in the wiki and thought "oh I guess it does scale with INT I didn't know that" then I re-read and no it doesn't. My mistake, just upgrade the flame for damage.

If you have miracles, Great Magic Barrier really helps on this fight in NG+, it got me through it anyway. The trick is trying to recast it during the fight, which takes a little luck.

Damage on pyromancy is determined by the level of the pyromancy flame and INT so maybe look into getting it upgraded it only costs souls. Even with low INT you can still do good damage with an upgraded flame.

Also if Iaito isn't doing much damage it probably means you didn't add a lot of DEX which is the only thing it scales off of. What stats did you build into? There's probably a better weapon you can move to depending on how you built.
