The Grinder? More like the hoagie, right?

Recently the people at High Voltage Software announced that The Grinder (Left 4 Dead Wii) was going multiplat, meaning nothing to most people. Face it, The Grinder was getting no attention at all outside of a select few Nintendo-centric outlets. After The Conduit was thrown into the grinder, we weren't all that hopeful they can make a high quality Wii game, but can they make a solid 360/PS3 title? Well if the change the game has gone through for the HD consoles, people are even more pessimistic. I didn't see anybody defend the decision to switch from the first-person perspective to the seemingly unusual top-down view... not one soul. Granted I didn't read a whole lot of responses to the news, but you catch my drift.

High Voltage tries to explain why they chose this unorthodox style for the 360 and PS3 and it has to do with filling in that genre gap we're seeing this generation. As you know, the Wii isn't really known as a shooter console and nobody outside of PC development utilizes the top-down view. I commend their pursuit for something different, but I'm not so sure.

And... I can't think of anything else to say. I... I got my first S-rank. You'll see it tomorrow, but if you read my status, you know which game I S-ranked. Feels good.

I'm hungry.

That's because The Conduit was a failure (in terms of quality).
