Hello again. Just bumping this thread and adding more information. I talked to @wcarle in chat yesterday and he told me to use the detailed error reporting thread to add more info. All the browser versions should be the same as the first post. Im specifically just at https://www.giantbomb.com/infinite/# but polls also dont work at https://www.giantbomb.com/chat/#. Basically I dont get a notification or chime or the ability to vote on polls. I checked both sites during the Kingdom Hearts first impressions stream in incognito/private mode today with all extensions turned off. The polls were only used on Infinite during that time. Having extensions off doesnt seem to help but if you need to know what extensions Im using for chrome they are: LastPass, The Great Suspend, Checker Plus for Gmail, uMatrix, Live Bomb!, Video DownloadHelper, Giant Bomb QoL, No Coin, Imagus , Privacy, Enhanced Steam, Https Everywhere, uBlock Origin, Google Analytics Opt-Out Add on. I also use Private Internet Access but as I said before in the first post, turning that off didnt fix the problem.
I also looked into the error console(?) on the same three browsers from the first post but Im only going to post them for Chrome right now. If the others are needed i can post those later. I have no idea what this is or if it has personal information but I just assume you wouldn't ask for it if it did. Attached (now removed) are some screenshots of the errors and warnings in the error console on Chrome.
If you need more information feel free to let me know.
Some more info. I signed into a guest account on the problem computer and that didnt fix polls on gbi on Edge, Chrome or Firefox all in Private/Incognito Mode. No extensions were installed on the guest account's browsers.
If it helps I noticed if you middle click "Watch Now" or right click it and open in a new window on videos on the main page they dont auto play for me. Its not always an option but its usually on the newest videos at the top of the page. I could be wrong but it seems to always work for me.
For some reason, I cant vote on polls in GBI. Its only on my desktop Windows 10 computer. My Windows 10 laptop works fine.
When its poll time, I dont get a notification, the poll switches but there is no option to vote and the chime never plays when "play sound" is checked.
And this is the case with every browser I have installed. So its probably on my end but I just have no idea whats wrong. I have a VPN but even when thats disabled it doesnt make a difference. I tried on Chrome Version 71.0.3578.98, firefox quantum 64.0 I believe and Microsoft Edge 42.17134.1.0 I believe as well. Ive tried with and without all extensions in private/incognito mode. I tried deleting cache, cookies, history etc in chrome and reinstalling it. I did a full restart of my computer as well.
Im just kind out of ideas. It just all of a sudden started happening like a few days ago. At least thats when I noticed. Any idea how to fix this?
