This seems like a good place to ask a question I have about TPP. In Ground Zeroes, the few cutscenes all just shot single camera, single take style, with zero cuts to different angles etc. It's an interesting stylistic decision, and I'm curious if that is the same throughout The Phantom Pain?

Certainly, treating the camera that way certainly seems like it could exacerbate motion sickness in people sensitive to it, especially if it goes all Paul Greengrass shakycam.

From memory (HA!), the PS1 memory card had 1mb of storage and the PS2 card was 8mb. Both had 15 blocks, right? Computers like doing things in multiples of two, so if I had to guess, it's more likely that it was divided 16 ways, with maybe some space set aside for some information on the card or possibly a backup block for higher production yield.

So a PS1 "block" was probably 64kb and a PS2 probably 512kb. These are just somewhat educated guesses though.

The original Xbox also used the "blocks" terminology. In that case, I thiiiink the system had 50,000 blocks and the consoles were produced with both 8gb and 10gb harddrives (although they only used 8gb either way).

All off the top of my head though, so some/all of this could be wrong!

EDIT: Matty is right, the PS2 totally did just list the save file size. Forgot about that!

If you liked V For Vendetta, maybe check out Alan Moore's other work. Watchmen is the obvious suggestion, but there's plenty of good stuff.

Not sure about good digital stores, I really enjoy looking at the art in an actual physical book.

Ooh Star Wars audio books. Ed Asner as Jabba.

@katjakaja: no one? Well okay, I know that I can't expect an answer so quickly, but does anyone has any ideas where and what I can search for? Any leads, suggestions or something? I feel that I have googled almost anything:(

Hm can't think of or find anything at the moment. The description brings two different kinds of game to mind for me. It sounds a little like a simpler version of a MOBA type game, like DOTA, League Of Legends etc, but the description also very much reminds me of stuff like Dungeon Keeper or Overlord.

@themaster408: Do you remember if it had anything like docking on space stations or landing on planets or anything? The first thing that comes to mind for me when I think pre-1995 top down space exploration game is probably Star Control II. Anything like that?

hello guys.

when i was little i used to play some shooter game. i know that there was a multiplayer. u could play as various characters (i recall there was some that looked like gods from egypt) it had a sci-fi feel. u could adjust the game settings (u could ignore gravity and jump rly high) the aim of the game was that u had a team of 5(?) and an enemy team and u had to eliminate them to win. i dont remember the story of the game cuz i never played it. there was a lot of zones u could choose( a matching one to the egypt char) i tried to google it and found nothing... im thinking about looking from the game lists of 2005 -2008 but its gonna take a long time till i finish it. i hope some1 will know the game ^^

edit: also first person point of view tho u could change it and see ur character. it was a pc game, 3D, i know u could play as a human too, it felt like u were battling the whole universe, aliens, egyptain god like characters, robots idk rly

another edit: i might have found it lol, but im not sure the unreal tournament 2004 i remember a lot of things when i watch the gameplay but im still not sure

You might be on the right path, sounds like it could be Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict?

I find his writing pretty engrossing, even when I don't necessarily love the actual plot or certain story beats and there's basically always something really creative that you can latch onto, so between that and his prolificacy, it makes it hard for me to pin down what my favourites actually are. Lots of his stories can go off the rails and get super dumb, but I've probably still enjoyed all that I've read.

I'm really fond of Pet Sematary. It has all these very overt supernatural elements, but the seed of the horror is something very real. It all feels like it's built on something honest and personal. It might not be my favourite, but I just want to mention it because, while not obscure, it's probably not going to get as many mentions as his best known stuff.

Tim Curry is the sole redeeming quality of the It miniseries. It would be nice if the new movies end up being good, but I feel like the scope and depth of that story lends itself better to a longer miniseries, maybe about 10 hours or so. Oh well, we'll see.

I'm still playing (feels weird to say it like that, it hasn't been out THAT long) and the matchmaking is still quick and I'm seeing a good variation in player levels, so it seems like it's a mix of people super into it, more casual players, newcomers etc.
