I think I laughed more at this QL than any in a while. Also, StrangeEric and HOTWHEELSMASTER69 may be a lock in GOTY for best character now tho....lol...jesus this game looks terrible. I'm surprised they didn't put this one on ice for a bit considering they gained some good will from mania.
This is one step back in time that feels like a step back for the franchise, though it's not COD: Ghost either. I'm just tired of the "we have made the same game but it looks better + loot boxes" formula of 2017...SOW felt like this to me a few weeks ago too. At least Assassins used it's extra time off wisely and does a few new things.
@glots: agree with just about everything you said. Jeff seemed into Destiny 2 until he finished all the content also. I definitely don't want to speak for him, but for myself. I am not looking for any game to just keep releasing a product with the same or familiar gameplay feel each year. I think that's why he points to Advanced Warfare so often...that one specifically changes how the game is physically played with the movement. Without some innovation in gameplay, or story you really are just getting a retooled game that has a lot of extra bells and whistles, but has the same exact feel as past titles, and that leads to franchise fatigue...at least for me. Graphically, and some of the zombie mode changes did look decent though.
Took a whole nine minutes and fifteen seconds before first 21:9 monitor mention :-) I love that Rorie has kept this going, it's good to see someone enjoying a purchase so much, I'm kinda jealous. Thanks for this PC quicklook.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance had some decent destructible tech, but it was not at the geomod/building destruction level....mainly to keep the mission structure in tact. Well...wasn't that supposed to be one of the whole bullet points of the new Crackdown? ...with the assistance of the cloud...or am I misremembering?
Firstly, I always love it when people who collect get together and hash out some rare/old game talk. Also, dig the stories about the garage sale finds, etc. Secondly, those guys seemed super humble and awesome. I can't wait to see whatever they work on next. Good interview duders.
