Even after watching about an hour of it, still unsure whether this game is a beautiful mess or just a mess...I'll still give it a fair shake tomorrow and see, but I can promise that I will NOT be engaging with the paid box system.

I'm not gonna lie, at the beginning and they are talking about crates, when Jeff quips back "goddammit Brad" it sounded like Ryan to me. Maybe I'm just missing the guy. Anyways, good vid gentleman. I tried the space flight over the weekend and FUCK, I thought maybe you were exaggerating, but the default sticks are so fucking awful. After switching this up it felt great though.
Rooting for the X-Com Abomination Squad, but every time someone dashes with enemies around I cringe. Also, If there is no mission turn countdown forcing you to go fast, then there is no reason to ever dash. Overwatch is your best friend, and if you move a sniper, there is no shame in changing to pistol and overwatching with it instead of hunkering. (This is especially important if you all continue with X-Com 2, plus in the sequel there are some sick Sniper Pistol Skills available in it as well.) Good luck! SQUAD!
I love Ben and Abby. With that said, I have been a member of the site for years, and this is the first piece of giant bomb content I actively stopped midway through. I just did not find it interesting. I'm sorry. (Please realize this is my opinion and being an opinion it does not require debate, and does not effect my feelings on Abby, Ben, or the Department of new business.)
@thepickle: I agree about the flourish. It looks like his hand leaves the controller and goes straight to the machine, so if he happened to have palmed anything, then he would have needed to have had it in his hand the whole time....PLUS, when he twisted the crank, there would have still been a yellow dropped, and even if he left it in the door when the red was revealed, the next shine pulled would have revealed two in the machine. I think the RNG gods just love Dan...if anyone doesn't believe this, then go back and watch some Mario Party Party.
