Another Free to Play! This time, PerryVandell and I get our fine selves a look at Vindictus.

Oh just play dungeon fighter online already.  It pretty much is the best out of the bunch of recently released instance based beat 'em ups that you guys are going through.  Not that Vindictus or DFO can be considered recently released anymore, but you know what I mean.

@Turambar: Yeah, we're going to start running out of "recently released" MMO's that aren't WoW clones. DFO is on the list, and so is Global Agenda.

And maybe League of Legends.

@benpicko: Well... "good" and "WoW clone" don't often overlap. Not bashing WoW at all-- I played the shit out of it. But a lot of the games trying to be just like it have typically been no bueno or little bueno. Unless you dudes have some suggestions, of course. I got a few F2P's downloading as we speak, and wouldn't mind throwing some more into that queue.

@DanielComfort: How come you guys can't call them Quick Looks? Is it just because you guys are the "new guys?" It's not like you're working for a rival video game website.

@MooseyMcMan: Honestly, we probably could call them "Quick Looks." It's just they're not official, and we don't want to feel like we're stepping on the toes of the dudes who are actually important and cool and better looking in the next room over. I do like the suggestion of "Cheap Looks," however. I may just have to snag that right up.

@DanielComfort: Makes sense. And Cheap Look is pretty catchy. Just don't let Kessler know. I don't think he'd approve of using the word "Look."

YES! But they have to talk backwards at some point. Or record all the dialog into a tape recorder.

Since there's a lot of discussion going on, they could also call them "Free To Parley".

Vindictus doesn't actually look that bad. :D

Vindictus is a game I've always wanted to play but, alas, Nexon keeps giving the middle finger to Europe. It's now said to come at some point during October, but you know... it's way too close to Skyrim, Arkahm City, AC: Revelations, et al.
