@Doctorchimp: They didn't say anything about a lot of games. I think that it would have been more reasonable to assume that they just didn't think it deserved to win rather than assume they forgot it. They aren't stupid, I'm sure there's a ton of prep involved with making these lists to begin with to ensure games aren't forgotten.
@Karmann: I don't think they have any obligation to give any credence to the decisions of any other outlet. I played God of War and it's a hell of a game. I agree with you, it looks beautiful. However it is just another grimy world beautifully rendered to look as disgusting as possible. It seems like they stuck with games that had done new things, and gave it to Kirby for doing something we've never seen before and doing it damn good.
