Not a fan of trying to make fighting games more accessible by having one-button specials and take out the ability to duck. The ducking thing especially feels bad, like in SNK Heroines. I think the secret to make a fun casual fighting game is to allow for lots of easy chaining. I like to think that it’s part of the reason why everyone and their grandma played Tekken 3 back in the day and why Asuka 120% is scientifically proven, by Giant Bomb, to being the greatest fighter ever.
It was the cult that had the nukes. The cult "Super Fortresses" that you got dragged off to and had to fight through at the end, weren't just DIY fallout shelters, but rather nuclear missile launch facilities that they had taken over and rebuilt. While you, the player, wasn't informed directly, you can kinda put together the pieces: The reason that the government didn't roll in there and just take down the cult wasn't because they didn't know what was going on in the region, but because they knew that they had the nukes.
That nobody is 100% happy with the games list on this device really speaks to the wealth of games that are available on PlayStation. They could have made a ton of variations: One that was just fighting games, one that was just racing games, one that was just RPGs, one that was just Konami games...
Granted, Rainbow Six is a very oddball choice. You can kinda see why the other games are there, from a historical perspective and it's easy to summarize that Grand Theft Auto and Persona are there because those a franchises that are big now... but Rainbow Six? I guess it's there because FPS games are so hot now, but it's not even the best FPS on the system.
Anyway, speaking of what Ubisoft was known for, I thought of them as the small upstart company that made Zombi back then, based on an article in a local games magazine, so I thought it was weird that thy started making "kiddy games" like Rayman (That was how I felt about it back then)
Dan mentioned that he saw Ratchet n Clank get 9,8 from IGN and asked himself "Should I play these games?". The answer is: No, you definitely shouldn't play that kiddy bullshit and instead by mature games for mature gamers like NARC for Xbox, like I did.

Abby, you would enjoy James Bond. Especially the Roger Moore movies, who to me is what James Bond should be all about: Cool gadgets and ludicrous villains. It's like the Austin Powers movies, but played straight.
