As a Dragon Ball fan, Dan, you might be recognizing the colors purple and green as the color scheme of Piccolo, popularized by the internet meme "Daily Dose" or "Piccolo Dick".

Neat video and the game looks fun.

Going back to regular-ass World Warrior, I noticed just how slow Chun-Li's spinning bird kick is. Takes FOREVER to get going. Of course it got replaced by that rising thing in future games, I think.

Well, I feel like they did tighten up the graphics on level 3. One of their early trailers made it look very much like a PlayStation 2 game and that was shown right after they were talking about how powerful the Xbone X was.

It was one of those trailers that didn't really show well, because you have to know what kinda ambitious open-world game it is. I hope Microsoft really has some "wow graphx!" games to show off at this years E3

Berzerk is one of those games I'd love to see a modern reboot of. Not one that is faithful to the original gameplay, but maybe something like a beautiful first or 3rd person shooter adventure with designs based off cover: Sleek robots, laser guns and tight silver spandex. A game that reinvents the franchise smartly like Syndicate did.

The characters of Martial Masters are all based off various HK movies. Scorpion for instance is based on Kim Won-Jun's amazing performance in Operation Scorpio (aka. the Scorpion King).

Big recommendation on that movie from me. It's very entertaining, well-paced and has fantastic martial arts in it as well.

I had problems with using silenced weapons in Far Cry 5 as well, but I think I've figured out what triggers the enemies. It's not your shooting, but the impact of the shots that alerts them. Then the AI routine has them try to fan out towards your position, but they don't actually spot you until they get close and that's the design choice that doesn't really make a lot of sense now in such a dense game.

They more or less behaved the same way in Far Cry 3: If they saw someone get shot, they would try to move towards your position to figure out where the attack came from, but I feel like they were quicker to reset and go back to their positions.

Overall, it would make more sense for them to try and take cover if they didn't know where the shooting was coming from, but someone probably thought that it would be too easy for you to just pick them off without any problems, which is why they've been designed to converge on your position, forcing you to move.

I really liked the original Rival Schools a lot. Unlike other fighting games, there was a lot to offer single-player fans, even if a lot of it was cut out from the English release. There was a nice story mode with interim dialogue (rather than just yer old arcade ending) and a couple of mini games. It also utilized the new Dual Shock controller by giving you a massage option from the school nurse/teacher Kyoko.
