Well considering the fact that its called Halo 3: Recon, uses the same Halo 3 engine (which I personally think is not that great for 2007 video game standards) makes it seem more like an expansion pack, which is a no go for me. I've payed for the Halo 3 maps, I've bought the game, I loved it yes, but I was dissapointed with it majorly in terms of graphics, story, and campaign. Everything else was great, but I know if I get my hopes up for this, I will just be let down. (No I was NOT mega hyping Halo 3 and the second coming of Christ either)

Correct Competition forces the market to expand. Nintendo made a joystick, Sony used that. Microsoft made Live, Sony adopted that. Sony makes Home, Microsoft redesigns the whole Xbox Live interface and features. NIntendo makes a motion sensing controller, Sony makes Sixaxis, Sony puts a Blu -Ray player in every PS3, Microsoft develops HD-DVD drive, fails, and now is looking at Blu-Ray. Competition forces games to adapt, without developers could shove out the same shovelware and gamers would be at the mercy of them. Besides can you really see Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft all agreeing with each other? I can't.

This is my point! I know that the Wii has a limited amount of power...but as the PS2 proved time and time again, that power can be brought to life in INCREDIBLE ways. Will it end up meeting up exactly with what we see on 360 and such? NO! But it does mean that people can stop bitching about "crappy looking games" if UE3 proves successful on here.
And yet...now...we still have an entire thread of people that are saying "well, it won't matter"...and yet half of them are the ones that are in other threads saying that Wii games need better graphics!!!

What are you talking about? The PS2 had by far the worst graphics of last gen PS2<GameCube<(Xbox Slightly over powers the Cube) Xbox. This generation is Wii<<<<<<<<<<<<<360=PS3. Its not that Wii graphics are shit its just in this day and age they are horrible. Even some of the shitest PS3/360 games are better looking than most Wii games. And as I said above the Wii can't use the UE3 engine just UE2.

High End Graphics =/= Engine. High End Graphics = Hardware. The Wii is simply not capable of handling the current UE3 engine. It can only handle the UE2 engine. Nor can the Wii handle the Source Engine and honestly Source > Unreal.
