Hey guys...

I've recently become aware of the existence of Dolphin, and I remembered that, while I never was interested in owning a Wii, there were several games on the Wii that I really would have liked to play. Specifically Xenoblade Chronicles and Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. I have also heard good things about Last Story.

Anyway, I wanted to ask if anyone has had experience using Dolphin on a modern PC. I'm at work so I dont remember my exact specs, but I have a Core i7 processor with 12GB of RAM and a fairly decent Nvidia card, running Windows 7. From the specs it seems like it should work ok. I understand Dolphin can emulate the Wiimote using a 360 gamepad and/or mouse. How well does this work?

Before I go running out and dropping $100+ on these games I want to make sure that the experience of using Dolphin to run them will be worth it, so Id appreciate any input you guys have.

Thanks! :)

The tech sounds neat, but the layout seems impractical. Betting on track pads as a substitute for analog sticks seems like a bad move. However, Valve isn't stupid, they must feel that there is something to this. They have the luxury to be able take big gambles like this, seems to me it can go either way for them. We shall see.

That aside, MAN is that controller fugly. Uggghhh...

Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell would be my starting points. As others have suggested, you should look at what genres you like and find animes that suit that. Hulu is a fantastic source of anime, and new ones seem to come over from Japan in relatively short order.

UPDATE: All gone! Hope everyone enjoys their games! :D

Hello duders!

I have a handful of left over codes from the last Humble Indie Bundle, and figured I'd hand them out to fellow duders rather than let them rot. (What do Steam codes smell like when they rot, I wonder?)

Anyways, here is what I have available. Just PM me first and second choice of what you would like, first come first served.

  • Mark of the Ninja
  • Eets Muchies
  • Brutal Legend
  • Limbo
  • Bastion

Good luck and enjoy! :-D

Fez seems like a natural fit on the Vita. That would be very cool!
