I don't know what predates it is what bothers me. What was I called as a child, the equivalent of "sir, wait, you dropped your wallet" was what "hey you" "hey kid" "big fella"? Don't remember.

I usually got "young man", or "Hey...!" being said at a higher-than-normal octave in order to get my attention if my back was turned to them (sort of akin to a dog, now that I think about it...) :P

@mirado: I got that one but throne room looked like it was mix of Red Keep(?) and Meereen pieces.

Yeah, immediately upon seeing that throne room, my only thought was, "Dragonstone's throne room has the same design as Meereen...??" Hell, for a second I thought I had looked away for a moment too long and that she really WAS in Meereen, hahaha.

"Wish we had bigger cups..."

Ooooooh man, I was mid-sip on my 40 and struggled to avoid spitting Steel Reserve all over my laptop when I first heard Jeff say that. I was laughing so hard I choked on malt liquor for a solid 30 seconds.

Warranted pausing, which caused the commentary track to de-sync. Totally worth it.

Naturally, I used the "bigger cups" line to re-sync because Jeff's timing was fucking golden.

Normal/Normal.

Keyboard: Been using a Logitech Tablet Keyboard in lieu of my laptop's Steelseries built-in keyboard (Maaaan. does the Steelseries give me cramps while in the typing zone for extended periods of time).

Mouse: Logitech Performance MX (w/ Darkfield). I... don't think I will ever want to use another mouse. Have had it for almost 8 years. I fear its rechargeable battery is beginning to fail, and lately, single-clicking has been causing double-clicking, seemingly randomly. But, holy shit if this $90 mouse isn't the most ergonomic and esthetically-pleasing peripheral I've owned.

Just wanted to say, fantastic cinematography! 0:51-1:26 of Michael in the cab was my favorite segment, visually. Reminded me a lot of Michael Mann/Dion Beebe's work on Collateral. Whether or not that was an inspiration, well done!

I've been eager for this first trailer to drop. It was kind of a bummer to hear GBEast's skepticism on one of the recent Beastcasts ("Fassbender looking 'bored as hell',") given that director Justin Kurzel has yet to make a "bad" film. Sure, he only has two movies under his belt, but he was able to avoid the Sophomore Slump after The Snowtown Murders with the recently-released Macbeth. Not that he is incapable of fucking this up, but he's on a roll. Cinematographer Adam Arkapaw is a young, world-class talent IMO. Fassbender is a producer on the movie, and from everything I've read, he truly sounds committed and focused on delivering a quality experience. Kurzel, Arkapaw, Fassbender and Marion Cotillard all collaborated on Macbeth and were praised for their work. The quality of talent attached to this thing is really exciting and gives me a lot of hope that it can rise above the "video game movie" trappings.

Plus, Jeremy Irons!

Logitech Performance MX (w/ Darkfield sensor):

I may never buy a different model of mouse, so long as Logitech keeps the MX in production. I believe it has the "claw" grip you're referring to, and it works on just about any surface you can imagine. It also has the button for "frictionless scroll wheel mode". It's not a "gaming mouse" per se, but I've never missed the bells-and-whistles, personally. Not sure if that's a deal-breaker for you. But did I mention it's comfortable as all hell?

Good luck!
