These are some games I thought were pretty good this year! I had a suprising amount of time consumed by the game at number 1, so this doesn't include exactly the widest selection of games. Also, this is a very PC centric list. In a sense, this is a list of games made in 2013 that I've played in 2013.
This game was the pretty best of these pretty good games. Infuriating at times, but mechanically excellent and has forced me to spend way too much time playing it. Apart from the whole losing part, I feel as if this game won't deplete itself in a long time.
I am a fucking sucker for some Football Manager. Probably not the finest iteration in recent years, but I'd be lying if I put this any lower.

Not being a huge fan of the previous games (mostly due to being a huge pussy), Infinite managed to grab me more thoroughly than I expected.
I went into this with very low expectations, having really not liked the first game. About 13 hours later, I'm really glad I was wrong.
Once again, I'm a sucker for pretty much anything about football. And once again, definitely not the finest game in the series by any means. But with the sheer amount of playtime I've clocked on it despite it's shortcomings I'd be lying if I didn't say it was one of my favourite games this year.
