Ah OK. I'd always wondered what prompted them to make it TP, especially since the first two were pretty good and pretty successful. I guess that makes sense. But I still think it would have been better as an FPS - plenty of FPS' have destruction and get away with it. Does Guerilla just take the destruction and ramp it up a little bit more then or something?
I'm pretty sceptical about this rumour. I'd like it to be true, but I just don't know where the rumour began and that makes me suspicious. The only thing is, if it is true, it would be the kind of thing Kojima does.
Red Faction 1 and 2 were both really good IMO. They were very good FPS'. I was disappointed when I found out they were making Guerilla a TPS and having watched a gameplay video or two, I think they made a mistake. The graphics look good, but the shooting mechanics don't look that good IMO. I think they would have been better off sticking with what they're good at. Thoughts? Any other RF fans out there who wish Guerilla was a FPS?
Yea I remember reading somewhere that you don't have to worry about that with the controllers. They'll wear out eventually, but recharging them when they're not empty won't wear them out any faster.
I was one of the Lost boys (girls) of Peter Pan's crew and Captain hook had tied us all together. He was going to... eat us, kill us, I don't know. But right when he was about to stab me, I thought "wtf is going on here, this is a dream! captain Hook, you can't kill us, go away!" and he just kinda disolved.
"I think all my dreams are like this. I'm generally aware enough to actually be able to "control" what's happening during the dream sometimes. Or at least it seems like that."
Control what happens? That would be so incredibly awesome. Although I can sometimes choose between carrying on with the dream or waking up, I generally can't control what I do in the dream, although on rare ocassions I can. Its pretty awesome when you can - living in a fantasy world pretty much!
