Consider the whole game spoiled here on in. You have been warned.

So Ned Goodwin is responsible for all of the creepiness throughout the game, and I thought that was a disturbing yet genuinely sad twist, but Wapiti Site is still somewhat of a mystery to me. Goodwin didn't just procure all that tech, that tent, and the dozens of metres of fencing without dropping a lot of dough, let along without going to town. If it was a scientific survey, Delilah had no clue of its existence prior to Henry's discovery of it and it was much bigger than usual.

I'm not disappointed that this wasn't elaborated on--it's kind of neat that there's a bit of mystery remaining--but how do you think that was all there, and why?

David Hayter is probably a lovely person and I appreciate his screenwriting contributions, but I have never enjoyed any variation on his Snake voice, even when it was relatively mundane in MGS1. A great voice actor can make even the most cartoonish voice sound believable, like it's natural or their own. Hayter has never managed this with Snake. His absence in Ground Zeroes is partly what initially sold me on the game.

Until Dawn: Mike; the ultimately brave and soft-hearted bro I expected to hate but ended up loving.

SOMA: Catherine. Though your AI companion, she never ventured into Cortana territory. There were long stretches of the game where I wished I could hear her voice. She was also a flawed yet well-meaning character in her own right.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture: Rev. Jeremy Wheeler. A kind-hearted man who violates his personal ethics in the hope of being moral.

Fallout 4: My own character, Emily, and intrepid, humanitarian reporter Piper Wright. We make an adorable couple.

Until Dawn might be the first party game I actually own. I had a few people over a couple weeks ago and we were up until four in the morning playing through it, with me letting them make the choices. Even with quicktime events it's way more accessible than most classic survival horror games.

It looks and plays fine on PS4. If you prefer games to run at 60fps you're out of luck, but I think a smooth 30fps looks more natural so this is fine for me.

The hell? I'll sign out and back into PSN to see what happens.

UPDATE: Had to go to the official SOMA site, find the link to the PS Store and download from there. Weird.

Will this be hitting PSN today? I've yet to see it in the store.

Well that would make any mission where you have to take out tanks and, of course, Sahelanthropus next to impossible, unless your average grenade is more powerful than I thought. You would also have to allow for rifles in Episodes 11 and 29. It could only work if you made major caveats for some missions.

Well it appears simply replaying Episode 9 triggered the next cutscene, but regardless the D-Horse trick worked. Thanks for all your help!
