@falserelic: How much do you think this could help with overcoming depression...I'm stuck in it and i feel like shit. I'm not fat I'm actually fairly thin, but i guess it will make me feel better and have more self confidence and all. And yeah my therapist has been telling me to do it, but i want someone who is actually doing it to tell me lol...
It's absolutely huge for that. I've suffered from clinical depression a couple times, and both times starting a semi-regular workout regimen has done wonders for mental health, especially in regards to motivating you to actually DO OTHER SHIT. If you have the problem of not wanting to go anywhere, or see anyone, or do anything, exercise helps clear your mind and put you at a certain kind of peace of mind which really really helps.
To answer the OP, any type of ab/stomach workout is pure torture. Running is ok, lifting is amazing, swimming is good, jump roping is fun but rough, but ab crunch related shit is the worst.
