Horrible news. I'm broken up over someone I've never even met or spoken to. He's been a part of my life for the past 10 years or so. It will be so hard moving on without him.

My thoughts and condolences to out to the Giant Bomb / GameSpot staff and his family. You will be missed sir. RIP.

Very sad to see you leave Dave. Enjoyed the Flight Club videos and random stuff you did with these duders, and especially the great site you built and helped maintain. Best of luck in your future endeavours my friend.

However, I have to say that I'm extremely, extremely happy to see the return of one Mr. Matthew Rorie. Welcome back!

I own every game in the franchise (yes, even Lego RB and Green Day RB) and have downloaded over 250 songs from the store. I also got Rock Band Blitz and played the hell out of that game last year. I'm sad to see it all end, thought it was sort of predictable it wouldn't last forever.

Thanks for this great article Alex. You brought back a whole lot of good (and not so good) memories.

Don't really care for the Quest thing.

Pretty much agree with you on every level. BioShock 2 gets better near the end I thought, while AC 2 and ME 2 are good throughout.

Here in Montreal, we haven't gotten that much snow this year. Seems like the world has gone crazy. 
  
MW 2 is a camp-fest. I really dislike the community for this game, and with all of the glitches going around, it's even worse. Nice job on Spec-Ops though. I got to Charlie and never went back, dunno why. 
 
Glad you enjoy ME 2. I absolutely adored that game from beginning to end. I never got around to banging any of the chicks in the game. In fact, all of the women in that game ignored me or told me to fuck off at one point in time. Kinda reminds me of real life. Oh, and I didn't "cheat" with the final mission, so I lost 3 members of the crew. 
 
BioShock 1 was fantastic. BioShock 2 I feel falls flat a little bit. I've played through half of the game so far and I'm still not completely into it. Tons of little annoyances prevent me from enjoying it thoroughly.
