I have yet to finish Metroid Prime and The Witcher. I also bought The Witcher 2 and Metroid Prime Trilogy. I'm doing it Vinny style. Also, I have yet to finish a single Grand Theft Auto game.
A lot of those early Xbox games had LAN components and if they do you can just set up a VPN with 15 other like-minded duders and just play like it's a LAN party.
It's the third result in a google search for the term "video games". All it takes is one bad apple to make the whole bunch think it's okay to go rotten, and the popularity of the site being what it is is bound to attract at least one or two bad apples.
I came in here, got real excited to hear there was a demo and then got real bummed out because the PS3 demo seems to exist no longer. I was looking forward to giving this game a try, too.
So daily challenges have been a thing in games for a while now and I wanted to ask the community a couple of questions about them.
Are there any games that do dailies that you have kept up with in terms of doing dailies every day? Maybe a lapse here and there, but are there any games you have made a habit of playing every day? If so, how long have you consistently been doing daily challenges?
If you don't do dailies, what game would you like to have daily challenges/quests that you could come back to over and over again?
What would you consider "your" game? The one that you allow yourself time for each day.
I don't do dailies everyday because that's kind of dumb, but I could see myself doing weekly quests. I really think that Borderlands could benefit from daily challenges. I consider Heroes of the Storm "my" game of choice for now.
The entire run of core Ratchet and Clank games are iterative but also among my favourite games of all time. The series has been widely criticised for repeating the same thing over and over again but for me the games are short enough and far enough apart that I love playing through each new one that comes out. There is enough variation in the level design and weapons to make each one feel different enough while maintaining what has been great about the series since the beginning.
I second this. Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal was basically a better version of Going Commando. It was a lot better, though. I played all three of those games in one summer. It was great.
